COMPETITION RACING

The Simmer 3XS features some radical shaping concepts to provide a perfect balance between control extreme acceleration and top-end speed. All necessary to win any slalom race. The outline is crafted to give to the board maximum control in all conditions. With a step tail configuration the 3XS jibes extremely smoothly and re-starts quickly while also maintaining control in high speeds. The outline becomes more parallel towards the middle to keep a wider nose which is important to generate early planing.

This new concept in our range is made for the airtime lovers who don’t want to sacrifice the wave riding. The PATRIK F-Wave is most probably the fastest waveboard ever that still performs well in small to medium waves. With a Powerbox for the center fin of the thruster setup we leave it entirely up to you which fin to choose to go fast and jump high or ride waves and slice turns.
Following the success of the 75, 85 and 95, Patrik Diethelm shaped the 105 and 115 which are new for 2023. These bigger sizes have a new rockerline with increased Vee. They feel small on the wave, but carry all the volume you need to be the first one planing. If you love  to play in different conditions, the new F-Wave is here for you!

DESCRIPTION

The Firemove is the most loved board by freeride enthusiasts due to its ease of use and lightweight feel over the water. For Y28 we have renewed the entire range and shapes. The new boards are longer and narrower and with new rounded nose and tail. The Firemove Y28 still maintains the liveliness that made it famous over the years and now with even greater performance. Its thin rails are still unique in the industry and have no equal for maneuverability and ease of foot steering. A lethal mix that will literally make you fall in love with freeride once again.
We have changed to 4 new sizes to make sure that each board meets the needs of each rider, from the small 105 lt to the bigger 155 lt and offering 3 technologies (LTD, LTE and E-TECH).

Most brands simply re-use old slalom models and reduce the size of the cutouts and set the straps more inboard and introduce this as the latest freerace design. Our development was done together with purely dedicated free-racers and some pro-riders who were amazed by the performance in powered conditions against pure competition slalom boards. The slightly longer flat under the straps is the key feature for this shape and makes the board plane earlier and ride more stable and safer in rough conditions. The FoilMove is a more advanced shape for windsurfers who want a foilboard in between a FoilStyle and a FoilRide. The narrow shape is harder to control but at the same time easier to jump and of course more aerodynamically stable in strong winds. Cutouts allow for active pumping and earliest flight even on wave and freeride foil sails. Enjoy the FoilMove with smaller sails in any windspeed from 10 to 30 knots and any conditions from flatwater to waves. If it's speedruns, foiltacks, flying 360s, jumps, foilloops... the FoilMove is your new weapon of choice. It works best with light wave or freemove sails like our 5Wave and X-Cross or our pure foil freeride sail RideFoil. Chose a narrow foil that suits the tailwidth well like our 1100 or 900 A.I.O. frontwings.

The FoilRace is the easier little sister of our pure foil competition machine FoilCompV2. It is able to match the FoilComp's race performance by 98% but is a little more rider friendly than its competition equivalent.
As said before the outline and concept is very close and similar to the FoilCompV2 but less extreme in the details. The cutouts are designed to favour passive accelleration a little better than on the FoilCompV2. They still allow for active pumping and sinking of the tail with raked foils. If you are looking for one foil board to cover any flatwater conditions from freeride to racing this board is for you.

With the WE STYLE WAVE, we didn't make it easy for ourselves to develop a board that combines good freestyle and wave characteristics. Various test reports confirm that we have managed to combine these very different characteristics in one board. The wide and rounded bow facilitates freestyle jumping and sliding maneuvers. However, the specially designed rocker line also allows for easy to ride turns in moderate wave conditions. The stretched and parallel outline of the rails, bring the board to high speed and provides the basis for freestyle and jump maneuvers. The flat rocker line between mast rail and tail, make the board extremely glidy, while the pronounced V with double concave in the underwater hull, guarantee very smooth and controlled gliding properties at high speed.

Gebruik als even mogelijk een Deep Tuttle Adapter als je een Tuttle vin in een Deep Tuttle Box wil gaan gebruiken. 

Picture is showing damage made by using tuttle box fin into deep tuttle box  board. Yellow arrows are showing the crack made by the fin base. When you are fixing the fin into the board you are applying force with tightening the screws and the fin base is pulled inside the board. This way, the fin is pushing into front and back of the box. The blue arrow is showing the direction of the force and as a consequence the box is cracked. Water is entering and we all know the scenario. Red arrow is showing the deepest point of tuttle base into deep tuttle box.  This is also the point where the crack ends.
